The Heritage Quest Online and NewsBanks links work with a library card account. For instance, a Denver Public Library card opens these links. I have no doubt there are lots of other far-thinking libraries providing that service. The Boulder Public Library also has a link to Heritage Quest. Mocavo.com is one I use a bit, but I don't find it is better than searching Google.

If they were free, I would use Newspaperarchive.com, Archives.com and Vitalsearch. If they were available at the public library, I would try them more frequently and then possibly order them at home. Vitalsearch had a free interface, but recently I only see the premium or paid service.

Ida Sherwood Bettis is my paternal grand mother. Aunt Clara is my great aunt. I can remember every nooks and crany of that house and yard...
