Searching through the census indexes on the Ancestry, Heritage Quest and FamilySearch websites, using wild cards, multiples spellings, various family members names, revealed nothing. It was necessary to locate the enumeration districts for Ward 20 and then read the enumeration boundary descriptions to find the right E. D. which was 479. Paging halfway through the district, exactly at 1725 North Warnock, there was the family, no. 161, with the first name and surname reversed, Palumbo Nicandro instead of Nicandro Palumbo.
